The 3rd “Conferencia Latinoamericana de Analíticas de Aprendizaje” (Latinamerican Conference of Learning Analytics, LALA 2020) will take place on the 1st and 2nd of October, 2020. This conference -organized by Universidad de Cuenca (Ecuador) and the LALA Project- has the following goals:
- Reflect on the development of Learning Analytics in Latin American Countries
- Explore the state of the art of Learning Analytics in other countries
- Present the Learning Analytics observatory for Latin America
- Present the results of the work on the Erasmus+ LALA project
During the event, Prof. Yannis Dimitriadis has been invited as keynote speaker. Prof. Yannis Dimitriadis, Full Professor of Telematics Engineering, is also the coordinator of the GSIC/EMIC research group, an inter-disciplinary group, integrating over 20 researchers and practitioners from the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) and Pedagogy. His recent research work has focused on learning analytics and smart learning environments, alignment of learning design and learning analytics, design patterns, conceptual and technological support to the orchestration of computer-supported collaborative learning processes, active pedagogies at scale, and across-spaces (Web, 3D worlds and augmented reality) learning.
